Due to snow accumulation and predicted snow throughout the day, Bandelier is closed today.
Any forecast for snow throughout the day will add to clean up efforts once the park reopens. Once it stops snowing park staff will need time to clear the roads, parking lot and Main Loop Trail so that visitors may safely visit the park once again.

Strong Wind Blows Structure Into Street Today
The homeowners heard a loud bang during the strong winds today and found this structure standing on all four legs in the middle of Hacienda Drive in White Rock. A couple of neighbors moved it to within the owners property and laid it on its side and removed the top to keep it from blowing away.
