BLM News:
SANTA FE ― The Bureau of Land Management offices in Santa Fe, Albuquerque, Socorro, Taos and Farmington began Monday issuing personal Christmas tree permits for harvest on BLM lands.
The permits will be sold through Dec. 24 and cost $5.
Maps may be obtained when purchasing the permits at a local BLM office. When transporting a tree taken from BLM public land, the permit must be attached to the tree.
Only piñon and juniper trees are available for harvest as Christmas trees on BLM lands.

For the Rio Puerco and Taos Field Offices only, Christmas tree harvesters are able to purchase a permit online. Use this link to access the online portal for sales: https://forestproducts.blm.gov. When purchasing an online permit, keep in mind the haul tag must be printed out and attached to the tree just as a regular permit.
