Los Alamos Choral Society Begins Rehearsals for Winter Concert

LACS News:

The Los Alamos Choral Society is beginning rehearsals for its winter concert, which will be a collaboration with the Los Alamos Symphony Orchestra.

The concert will present W.A. Mozart’s “Requiem” and Morten Lauridsen’s “Lux Aeterna.”  

Rehearsals are 7 p.m. Tuesday evenings at the United Church of Los Alamos. All interested singers are invited to participate.

Held annually each year on the third weekend in September, the Walnut Valley Festival is the home of the National Mountain Dulcimer Championship.

Jonathan Dowell of Los Alamos placed third in the contest. He received a 4FGCS Mountain dulcimer as his prize.
