New Mexico Film & TV Industry Sets Record-Breaking Wages … Outlying Communities See 150% Spending Increase

SANTA FE — Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham has announced that film, television, and digital media production spending in New Mexico surpassed $2.2 billion over the past three fiscal years and that industry wages are now at a record high.

The New Mexico Film Office shows that the industry spent more than $794 million in New Mexico from July 1, 2022, to June 30, 2023.

SANTA FE —  The Santa Fe Opera and 95.5 KHFM Classical Public Radio will present free, live-recorded radio broadcasts of the opera’s 2023 Season, airing at 6 p.m. MDT, Monday July  31 through Aug. 28.
