The Chamber of Commerce is celebrating the opening of the Jemez Mountain Brewhouse with a ribbon cutting 11 a.m. Friday, July 1 at 17691 N.M. 4 in the heart of Jemez Springs.

Crews use an excavator Monday to demolish the former McDonald’s on Trinity Drive to make way for a new Starbucks. The County confirmed this morning that this new Starbucks location will offer a sit down area as well as a drive thru. McDonald’s had been leasing the property from Shannon Corporation until about five years ago when it built a new McDonald’s in the Smith’s Marketplace parking lot down the block.
