LAPS Offers K-6+ Program Opportunity June 1-21

Los Alamos Public Schools is excited to offer the opportunity for all LAPS students in Kindergarten through 6th grade (K-6) to participate in the K-6+ program being offered this June.

K-6+ is a free extended learning opportunity for all students to attend school in person for 15 extra days June 1-21. Teachers will reinforce core skills, provide hands on learning opportunities and enrichment, or focus on teaching skills that may not have been mastered during the current school year.

List Of Unaccounted-For New Mexico Students 2,522

SANTA FE — The New Mexico Public Education Department (NMPED) and its partners are searching for the final and hardest-to-reach students after months of work to determine that all New Mexico students are safe and receiving education services despite the pandemic.

As of this week, about 2,500 names remained on a list once numbering more than 12,000 of students who were enrolled in public schools last spring but not this fall and were therefore feared to be outside the educational system.

New Mexico Department Of Health Announces One Million COVID-19 Vaccine Doses Administered In State

SANTA FE — The New Mexico Department of Health (NMDOH) is pleased to announce that New Mexico has administered more than one million doses of COVID vaccine. 

According to the CDC, New Mexico remains first in the nation in two important categories: vaccine administration by population and efficiency in distribution (percentage of doses used). As of today, 37.4% of New Mexicans 16+ have received at least a first shot, and 22.4% are fully vaccinated.

The Democratic Party of New Mexico (DPNM) launched an online information hub Wednesday, specifically dedicated to informing members of the public and the press about the upcoming special election in New Mexico’s first Congressional district.

New Mexico COVID-19 Update: 226 New Cases, Total 189,374 With 5 New Death And 170,799 Patients Recovered

SANTA FE – New Mexico state health officials today announced 226 additional COVID-19 cases.
