LAHS Girls Golf Team Earns 3rd State Tournament Qualifying Leg
SPORTS News:
The girls golf team earned their 3rd state tournament team qualifying leg March 31 in the Los Aamos High School Spring Warm-Up Golf Tournament.
This completes the NMAA three-leg qualification requirement, which gives the girls golf team passage to their 3rd sate championship in the last four years. The girls earned two previous legs at the Grants Invitational last October and the Piedra Vista Invitational las October.
In the March 31 tournament, Emma Haines led the charge with an 86 followed by Jennifer Necker with a 91, Faith Koh with a 94 and Emily Johnson with a 98. The girls fired Read More
Runners Raise Funds to Fight Breast Cancer at Run for Her Life Sunday

Aprroximately 90 runners participated in the fourth annual Run For Her Life 5k and 10K race Sunday. The race, presented by the Los Alamos Chapter of Hadassah and Atomic City Roadrunners, raises awareness and funds to fight breast cancer. See race results here.
LAHS Girls T&F Competes at Cleveland HS
Los Alamos finished second overall and had two more State qualifiers. Sophia Galvez qualified in the 3200m (12:10.84) and the 4x400m team of Elena Abeyta, Sienna Ahlers, Clare Ticknor and Hayley Schake ran a qualifying time of 4:12.11.
“It’s been a great start to the season and we hope to continue to improve,”
