Toppers Thrash Tigers

UNM Lobo Hockey To Visit Los Alamos Saturday

SPORTS News:

The University of New Mexico Men’s Hockey team will invade the Los Alamos County Ice Rink at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13 for an inter-squad scrimmage.

The Lobos will travel back to Albuquerque after the scrimmage to host Dallas Baptist University in an 8 p.m. tilt. There is no cost to attend the scrimmage.

The Lobos are 12-1-1 on the season and ranked 8 in the country in Division-III hockey while averaging 6.5 goals a game. Read More

The Los Alamos High School Hilltoppers Swimming and Diving teams competed Jan. 5-6 at the Lubbock HS Swimming and Diving Invitational at the Pete Ragus Aquatic Center in Lubbock, Texas.

From the opening tipoff the Belen Eagles took control of the game Friday night and never relinquished it, ultimately winning 65-41. The toppers came close to taking the lead several times, but could not close the gap.
