LAHS Hires Ainsworth as Boys Head Golf Coach

HILLTOPPER News:

Anders “Andy” Ainsworth has been hired as the Boys Head Golf Coach for Los Alamos High School. 

He takes over for Ann Stewart (who was hired as Head Girls Basketball Coach.)

Ainsworth served as a volunteer this past year and is a math teacher at Los Alamos Middle School.  He was an assistant golf coach for the Men’s and Women’s Golf Team at Western New Mexico from 2008-2010, and has been a boys and girls basketball coach (both assistant and head) and an assistant volleyball coach at Coronado High School.

David Kratzer was just 3 seconds shy of a perfect prediction in Tuesday’s pace race.

The annual staggered-start pace-race/fun-run was held Tuesday on the White Rock bike path. The predictors with the slowest times started first from Piñon/Rocket Park, and the ones with the fastest times started last. The Jones family had many good predictions.

8th Grade Athletic Night Tuesday at Smith Auditorium

The Los Alamos High School Athletic Department will hold an 8th grade Athletic Night at 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 28 in the Smith Auditorium.
