Learn more about a new master’s degree program in environmental health and safety by attending an informational meeting noon, Thursday, March 5 in Room 3 of Mesa Public Library on Central Avenue in downtown Los Alamos.
The two-year degree program is offered by Colorado State University and is open to anyone who has a bachelor of science or bachelor of arts degree and has completed certain prerequisite classes – see below.

- Nearly $700,000 in new revenue generated last two years
Six Northern New Mexico Native American-owned and operated businesses received a total of $60,000 in grants through a Native American Venture Acceleration Fund created by Los Alamos National Security, LLC (LANS) and the Regional Development Corporation.
The grants are designed to help the recipients create jobs, increase their revenue base and help diversify the area economy.

Trinity Site Tour Reservations Now Available

The annual Los Alamos Historical Society escorted bus tour to the site of the first atomic test, Trinity Site, will be April 3-4, this time via Alamogordo.
The cost is $385, which includes transportation, lodging in Alamogordo, and some meals. Experts and resources about the area and the test will be on board.
