NM Film Office: Meow Wolf ‘Score Wars’ Live Streaming Event To Film In New Mexico

SANTA FE ― New Mexico Film Office Director Nick Maniatis announced Thursday that the Meow Wolf Live Streaming event “Score Wars” will take place through early April in New Mexico.

“It’s exciting to see a groundbreaking New Mexico company expanding into this medium,” Maniatis said. “Our powerful incentives and unique culture are not only attracting productions and jobs to our state, they’re helping our homegrown companies explore new opportunities, and succeed.”

Saturday, in conjunction with Wildfire Day, the Los Alamos Fire Department and Elks Lodge will sponsor an Easter Egg Hunt with 20,000 eggs at 10 a.m. at Ashley Pond Park.

Sunday, New Beginnings Fellowship and the Los Alamos County Golf Course will sponsor an Eggstravaganza at 1 p.m. with many fun activities including an Easter Egg Hunt at 2 p.m. for various age groups.

‘Cosmos: Possible Worlds’ To Film In New Mexico

SANTA FE  New Mexico Film Office Director Nick Maniatis announced today that the Possible Worlds LLC Cosmic documentary television show “Cosmos: Possible Worlds” will begin principal photography in Santa Fe and Zia Pueblo.
 
Production will be from early April through May 2018.
 
“In combination with a deep talent pool and powerful incentives, New Mexico is a top destination for film productions,” Film office Director Nick Maniatis said. “We’re happy to have Cosmos return for a second season in New Mexico.”

Forest Service Hosts Glorieta Rock Art Tour April 28

SANTA FE  Join the Santa Fe National Forest’s Site Stewards to explore two unusual horizontal rock art panels on Glorieta Mesa.
 
The petroglyphs are unique in both design and location. Both panels are easily accessible, but the trip will require carpooling in high-clearance vehicles. Sunscreen, snacks, water and closed-toe shoes are recommended.
