SANTA FE – New Mexico state health officials announced 1,525 additional COVID-19 cases, Saturday through today, in New Mexico.
Los Alamos County reports 5 new cases since Saturday bringing the total to 644 people who have tested positive for COVID-19. (County totals are subject to change upon further investigation and determination of residency of individuals positive for COVID-19.)
This update includes 14 new deaths in New Mexico related to COVID-19.
Per the state Department of Health, the most recent cases are:
- 380 new cases in Bernalillo County
- 2 new cases in Catron County

NMSP: Fatal Vehicle Rollover On I-25 In Santa Fe County

SANTA FE – At approximately 1:53 p.m., the New Mexico State Police (NMSP) investigated a fatal crash on Interstate 25 near mile marker 291 north of Santa Fe.
The initial investigation indicates that a 2006 Toyota RAV4 was traveling north on Interstate 25 near mile marker 291. For reasons unknown, the driver of the Toyota left the roadway and rolled.
The driver, John Armijo, 65, of Pecos was ejected and sustained fatal injuries in the crash. Armijo was pronounced deceased by the Office of the Medical Investigator.
