Need some new gear for this coming winter? Come to Los Alamos Middle School this weekend for the annual Los Alamos Ski Swap.

The swap is 1-4 p.m. Saturday and includes the sale of new and lightly used skis, snowboards, boots, bindings, helmets and ski clothing.

Drop off equipment for resale 8-11 a.m. Saturday.

Pick-up unsold equipment and payment for sold equipment 1-3 p.m. Sunday.

Scenes From Topper Volleyball Match Against Pojoaque

The Topper Volleyball team takes to the floor for a game against the Pojoaque Elkettes Wednesday evening in Griffith Gym. They are wearing pink to raise awareness for Breast Cancer Awareness Week. The Toppers and the Elkettes enter this game tied for first please in the 2AAAA district contest, and the winner will take over undisputed first place. The Elkettes proved to be the stronger team by winning the match in three sets, 25-13, 25-19 and 25-14. Toppers Soccer Against Pojoaque Elks & Elkettes

The boys and girls soccer teams picked up deceive wins against their closest 2AAA district teams, the Pojoaque Elks and Elkettes Tuesday afternoon at Sullivan Field. The boys played first and closed out the game at the beginning of the second half with a score of 10-0. The girls played after the conclusion of the boys game and likewise closed the game early by the mercy rule at the end of the first half with a score of 12-0.
