LAHS Boys Track & Field Team Travel To Las Cruces
The LAHS boys track & field team traveled to Las Cruces March 2 for the Onate Invitational T&F meet. Boys varsity results can be found here. Los Alamos had 2 state qualifiers, seniors Duncan Fuehne in the 3200 and Elijah Velasquez in the 800. High point athletes for the Hilltoppers were senior, Justin Gilbert and freshman, Westley Parker, both with 14 points. Next meet is Saturday, March 9, in Los Lunas. Courtesy photo

Lady Toppers Score Huge Win Over Sundevils
The Lady Toppers played the Espanola Lady Sundevils at home in Griffith Gym Friday night for the right to progress to the championship game for District 2-4A. The teams had split their two previous meetings. Each team was hoping for a win to get a good seed in the upcoming State Championships. The teams played even through regular time and the game ended in a tie 56-56, which prompted overtime play. In the overtime period the Toppers had a narrow lead to the final minutes when Michaela Gonzales hit four clutch free-throws to put the game out of reach for the Sundevils and a win for the Toppers 71-60. Local Wrestler Adrian Oshel Wins 1st Place At Greater Southwest National Wrestling Tournament

Local wrestler Adrian Oshel competed Saturday at the Greater Southwest National Wrestling Tournament at Tingley Coliseum in Albuquerque.
Oshel came away with a 1st place win in the 10 and under, 100 lb. division.
