Inmate Felix Romero Escapes From San Miguel County Detention Center In Las Vegas, N.M. Remains On Lam

NMSP News:

Las Vegas, N.M. – At approximately 1 p.m. today, New Mexico State Police were called to the San Miguel County Detention Center at 26 N.M. Highway 283 in reference to an inmate who escaped from the facility.

The inmate was identified as Felix Romero, 22, of Las Vegas, N.M.

Romero broke a window in the reintegration building and walked away from the facility. It is unknown Romero’s direction of travel.

He is described as a Hispanic male who is 5’4”, 180 lbs., bald with brown eyes. He has tattoos on his neck and head with a tattoo of Brenda on his neck. Romero Read More

NMSP Announces Sobriety Checkpoints In December

New Mexico State Police will be conducting sobriety checkpoints; saturation patrols; and registration, insurance and driver’s license checkpoints in all New Mexico counties during the month of December 2019.
