Traffic Alert: NM 4 Has Reopened From Junction NM 501 To Los Alamos/Sandoval County Line
NMDOT News:
The roadway closure has been removed from the N.M. 4 junction of N.M. 501 to the Los Alamos and Sandoval County Line.
Roadway stabilization work is continuing and N.M. 4 will be reduced to one lane at mile marker 49.4 west of Bandelier with temporary signals guiding traffic through the work zone.
This work is scheduled to be completed Nov. 26; weather permitting. Drivers are advised to watch for workers in the area and use caution.

Traffic Alert: N.M. 4 Road Work & Closure Tuesday

SANTA FE – The New Mexico Department of Transportation District Five Office (NMDOT) has posted an alert for N.M. 4 mile marker 49.4 west of Bandelier.
NMDOT Maintenance Crews will begin roadway repair work on N.M. 4 approximately one mile west of N.M. 501 and Bandelier:
- Monday Nov. 18 – N.M. 4 at mile marker 49.4 will be reduced to one lane. A temporary signal will guide traffic through the east and westbound lanes. No Wide Loads will be allowed.
- Tuesday Nov. 19 – N.M. 4 eastbound and westbound lanes will be CLOSED 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. from the Jct. of N.M. 501 and N.M. 4 to the Los Alamos / Sandoval
