Lane Closures On 3055 Trinity Drive Lane Friday

COUNTY News:

Los Alamos County Traffic and Streets Division of Public Works will be closing the interior west and east bound lanes in the location of 3055 Trinity Dr. Friday, Nov. 1.

Work will commence at 8:30 a.m. and should be completed by 4 p.m. Friday.

Crews will be repairing a re-occurring pothole in that location. 

Vehicle traffic is urged to slow down and follow all traffic control devices. Pedestrian traffic should be aware of equipment in the area.

State Police: Sobriety Checkpoints; Saturation Patrols

State Police will be conducting sobriety checkpoints, saturation patrols and registration, insurance and driver’s license checkpoints in all New Mexico counties throughout November.
 
NMSP is bringing awareness to these events in an effort to reduce alcohol related fatalities through continued media attention and intensive advertising.

Red Cross: Turn Clocks Back, Test Smoke Alarms

Daylight saving time ends this Sunday, and the American Red Cross urges everyone to test their smoke alarms when turning back their clocks.
As the fall season ushers in cold weather, it also increases the risk of deadly home fires.
