FBI: Man Charged With Allegedly Posting Facebook Messages Threatening To Kill Governor, Law Enforcement Officers

FBI News:

ALBUQUERQUE – Daniel Mock, 33, of Albuquerque appeared today in federal court in Albuquerque for an initial appearance on a criminal complaint charging him with posting messages on Facebook threatening to kill New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham and law enforcement officers, in violation of federal law.

The criminal complaint charges Mock with allegedly transmitting threatening communications in interstate or foreign commerce. According to the complaint, Mock allegedly posted threatening messages March 2 and March 13 to the governor’s Facebook page.

County Update 9 On COVID-19: Public Works ‘Still At Work’

Public Works Director Anne Laurent commented today on questions from residents wondering what kinds of services are still available.

Updated Emergency Public Health Order Includes Further Restrictions On New Mexico Food Establishments

STATE News:

Effective immediately, food establishments in New Mexico may only serve customers using take-out and delivery options.

These restrictions are being implemented under an emergency public health order from the New Mexico Department of Health in an effort to curb the spread of COVID-19.

The Department of Health and the Environment Department, which regulates food establishments, strongly encourage businesses to utilize curbside take-out and drive-through options when possible and ask that customers call in orders ahead of time.

Aug. 7, 2019, Los Alamos resident Jane Johnson arrived to her home in Verde Ridge to discover it was submerged in water.

Her daughter, Jill Cook, said there was 15 inches of standing water and her mother couldn’t even open the door.
