Pino Fire Not Expected to Impact Facilities Over Labor Day Weekend

SFNF News:

SANTA FE – The lightning caused Pino Fire, on Santa Fe National Forest’s Jemez Ranger District, is now estimated at 120 acres. The fire is located five miles south of State Highway 4 and six miles east of Jemez Springs.

This drying trend will result in lower humidities and better opportunities for fire growth. An increase in smoke is expected.

Minimal fire activity was observed yesterday. Fire crews continued Read More
