Los Alamos County Little League Senior Girls Softball Team Wins Game One At Regional Tournament!
All smiles from Vidalia, La., as the Los Alamos County Little League Senior Girls Softball Team continues their winning ways at the 2017 Regional Softball Tournament. This morning the Los Alamos team played a little league team from Colorado and won 24-0 in five innings. Their next game is 8 p.m., Sunday against a team from Louisiana. Los Alamos Tennis Club Annual Tournament Renamed To Honor Joel M. Williams

TENNIS News:
The Los Alamos Tennis Club is hosting its annual tennis tournament with one change, the name. It is being renamed for the late Joel M. Williams, who was very instrumental in tennis in Los Alamos.
The dates are July 29 and 30. Entrants will get a very good free lunch Saturday, July 29 at the Urban Park Pavilion.
The tournament director is Bob Tonelli with Tony Ballard as assistant tournament director.

Relay For Life Sells Luminaria Bags At Smith’s Sunday
RELAY FOR LIFE News:
Event coordinators for this year’s Relay for Life Los Alamos are selling luminaria bags 1-4 p.m., Sunday at Smith’s Marketplace in Los Alamos.
Luminarias honor every life touched by cancer. They can be dedicated to a loved one lost, someone battling cancer or anyone who has overcome the disease.
The luminarias will be decorated with names and sometimes messages to the people they are dedicated to and placed around Ashley Pond during the upcoming Relay for Life Los Alamos event.
