Scenes From Local Young Life Organization

The local Young Life organization has a goal to introduce adolescents to Jesus and help them grow in their faith. This is done by building bridges of friendship and earning the right to be heard, sharing life and faith and allowing teens the opportunity to make an informed decision about who Jesus is. The programs are custom made for kids throughout their adolescent years. Young Life is the name of the organization and also the term used for the program with high school students. Opting-In To Local Election Act Will Save Money

There are some big changes coming to the way New Mexicans vote, and because of these changes, some real costs savings are available for municipalities throughout our state.

Goat Fence Installed At Lemonade Living Lot

Thanks to a donation from 100+ Women Who Care to purchase fencing materials, Lemonade Living volunteers spent Sunday installing goat fencing on one of the nonprofit organization’s lots at the North Mesa Stables. Raising goats and making goat products are part of a ‘Farm to Kitchen’ project aimed at providing occupational and vocational training as well as employment opportunities for local young adults with special needs.
