New Mexico COVID-19 Update: 355 New Cases, Total Now At 33,713 With 3 New Deaths And 18,960 Patients Recovered
SANTA FE – New Mexico state health officials have announced this afternoon 355 additional positive tests for COVID-19.
Los Alamos County remains at 37 cases that have tested positive for COVID-19.
Today’s update includes 3 new deaths in New Mexico related to COVID-19.
The New Mexico Department of Health reported today the most recent cases:
- 121 new cases in Bernalillo County
- 10 new cases in Chaves County
- 5 new cases in Cibola County
- 24 new cases in Curry County
- 50 new cases in Doña Ana County
- 6 new cases in Eddy County
- 1 new case in Grant County
- 19 new cases in Lea County

LARSO Board Election Ballots Now Available

The Los Alamos Retired and Senior Organization, which operates the Betty Ehart and White Rock senior centers, is running its first election for positions on the LARSO Board during the pandemic.
A ballot is available for members who would like to participate in the election and must be delivered or postmarked by Oct. 16.

Walkup Aquatic Center Swim Lessons Resume Oct. 19

The Aquatic Center will begin offering modified semi-private swimming lessons, for levels 2 & 3, limited to two students per class and where the parent is in the water with their child and the instructor teaches from the deck.
