Researchers at the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (BGU) Malware Lab have developed a new method for detecting malicious emails that is more effective than the top 60 antivirus engines on the market.

LANL Foundation’s Education Grants Call For Applications

LANL FOUNDATION News:
 
The LANL Foundation is accepting applications for $2,500 education and community outreach grants. The deadline for submission in the second yearly grantmaking cycle is Aug. 15.
 
Two types of grants are offered to nonprofit organizations, schools or education programs. Education Outreach Grants directly support public school children in grades K–12. Community Outreach Grants meet the Foundation’s mission and vision of innovative programming, collaboration and advocacy for lifelong learning but need not be tied directly to K–12 public education.
