Santa Fe Animal Shelter Hosts ‘Love Above All Valentine’s Pet Photo Contest’ Benefiting Senior Homeless Animals

Do you have a cute pet photo and want to help out with senior animals in need? The Santa Fe Animal Shelter (SFAS) is hosting a “Love Above All Valentine’s Pet Photo Contest” to fundraise for their cause.

Construction To Start This Week On New Mexico Museum Of Art Vladem Contemporary In Santa Fe’s Railyard District

The New Mexico Museum of Art (NMMOA) and the Museum of New Mexico Foundation have announced that construction work will begin this week on the New Mexico Museum of Art Vladem Contemporary on the site of the Halpin Building in the Railyard District in Santa Fe.

This moves the museum one step closer to the vision of a dedicated space for contemporary art to complement the historic 1917 building on the Santa Fe Plaza.

Bradbury Stamm Construction of Albuquerque was selected Jan. 25 as the general contractor for the NMMOA Vladem Contemporary.

Do you know someone who has a story to share about prison and/or the parole system?

New Mexico Talent is casting for a national commercial shooting in Albuquerque and the want to cast real people with real stories.

They are casting ex-inmates and ex-parolees and their families. All walks of life, all backgrounds, all  ethnicities and all ages.

Anyone who has never been in the prison system but was/is affected by a loved one who was, is invited to apply.

Rate: $500 per person for the shoot day (plus an additional $1,500 per person if you make it into the final edited commercial).
