Online registration is open for children and teens interested in playing ice hockey this winter through the Los Alamos Hockey Association.

Children as young as three can learn to play the fastest game on Earth through LAHA’s programs, which include ATOMS for the youngest beginners, co-ed teams through high school, and two girls-only teams.

The season will officially start with the opening of the Los Alamos County rink, anticipated to occur next week.

LAHA has a large inventory of rental equipment available for players of all ages. A gear rental session will occur  5-7 p.m., Thursday at Longview Self Storage in White Rock.

LAHA is committed to providing a safe, positively encouraging atmosphere for all youth in the Los Alamos area to learn and enjoy the sport of ice hockey. 

Grants, sponsorships and fundraising efforts allow the association to provide a significant amount of scholarship assistance each season.

Scholarship assistance may be available to players to pay for full or partial registration fees and equipment rental fees.
