YLLA News:

Young Life Los Alamos is holding its annual Golf Tournament Sept. 25, at the Los Alamos Municipal Golf Course.

Registration begins at noon followed by a 1 p.m. Shotgun Start. Play is best-ball or scramble format. The day’s activity ends with a catered dinner at North Mesa Park. Golfer’s families are invited to join them for dinner at no additional cost.

Proceeds from the Golf Tournament will help area middle school and high school students attend Lost Canyon Camp in northern Arizona for a week in the summer or Wolf Weekend (Young Life’s ski weekend in January).

Many youth who attend one of these camps call it the best week, or weekend, of their lives. Young Life Los Alamos also offers programs during the school year for teenagers. Club, on Monday nights at Film Festival on Diamond Drive, is controlled chaos for high school students.

Campaigners is a more serious opportunity for high school youth to study, serve, and lead in small groups. This year, after a six year hiatus, middle school youth will be able to participate in WYLd Life, a program especially for their age group.

For information about being a hole sponsor or donating a raffle prize for the golf tournament, contact Ryan Gilbert at 505.660.7432. To register for the tournament, call 505.660.7432 or register online here.

The mission of Young Life Los Alamos, and the worldwide Young Life organization, is that “every adolescent will have the opportunity to meet Jesus Christ and follow Him.”
