Woman Attempts To Rob Bank Of America

The FBI and Albuquerque Police Department are looking for a woman who attempted to rob a Bank of America branch Friday, Aug. 14.
 
The suspect is described as a white female, about 45-55 years old, approximately 5’1” to 5’5” tall, and weighing about 175 to 185 pounds.
 
She wore a blue short-sleeved shirt with a white logo on the chest and sunglasses hanging from the collar, a tan fishing hat, jeans, white shoes and black gloves. She carried a bag with a strap over her shoulder.
 
Witnesses said the suspect walked into the bank at approximately 2:22 p.m. at 5600 Lomas Blvd NE.
 
The suspect gave a teller a note demanding money, but left the bank without any cash.
 
Anyone with information about this attempted robbery is asked to call the FBI at 505.889.1300, or Albuquerque Metro Crime Stoppers, anonymously, 505.843.STOP.
 
The FBI may pay a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of this suspect.
