Unitarian Church Of Los Alamos News:
The community is invited to attend the Bizarre Bazaar and Frito Pie Lunch, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7 at the Unitarian Church of Los Alamos at 1738 North Sage St.
The Frito pies feature both meat and vegetarian versions and a choice of toppings including cheese, cilantro and sour cream. The event also includes a bake sale, popcorn and cotton candy. Crafts and rummage sale items will be available, as well as face painting and activities for the kids.
An unusual silent auction will be held featuring “experiences” such as a Qigong lesson, dog training lesson and houseplant ‘doctor’ visit, along with vintage pottery, SALA movie tickets and other items. Please bring cash or check to this event.
This event coincides with two neighboring shows; the Los Alamos Geological Society’s Earth Treasure Show and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Crèche Show. The community is encouraged to attend all three events.
