This week Tuesdays at the Pond features An Evening of Opera presented by Opera Singers, Soprano, Heather Bingham with Baritone, Tyler Oliphant and Mezzo-Soprano Rebecca Morris, accompanied by Sarah Frogget.
The concert begins at 7 p.m., Tuesday, June 28 at Ashley Pond. Bring a blanket and a picnic dinner and enjoys opera favorites by Bizet, Mozart, Delibes, Floyd, Meyerbeer, and musical theater favorites from South Pacific, Phantom of the Opera, Carousel and others.
Tuesdays at the Pond, a summer entertainment series, runs through August 9. It brings a variety of entertainment acts to the Ashley Pond stage in downtown Los Alamos every Tuesday evening.
The Los Alamos Creative District directs a variety of programs that bring people to downtown Los Alamos. Fourth Fridays is a monthly event that offers special programming at Mesa Public Library, Bradbury Science Museum, Los Alamos Historical Society and Fuller Lodge Art Center. Fourth Fridays happens on the fourth Friday of each summer month and will also promote special offerings from local businesses. On Tap is a series of discussions and libations located downtown every first and third Thursday of the month. First Thursdays feature rotating themes of history, nature and art hosted by the Los Alamos Historical Society, Pajarito Environmental Education Center, or Fuller Lodge Art Center respectively. Science On Tap by the Bradbury Science Museum is every thirdThursday of the month.
