Tom Rheam Trio Plays Blue Window Bistro April 21

The Blue Window Bistro in Los Alamos will host a Jazz Night featuring the Tom Rheam Trio Saturday, April 21. Tickets are $15 per person and dinner reservations are required. 

The Trio will perform 7-9 p.m. Tom Rheam plays trumpet and piano, Dick Hogle plays drums and sings and David Moir is on bass.

Rheam has played on the road with Ray Charles, played backup to Frank Sinatra on recordings, toured with the Glenn Miller Band and many other well-known professional singers and musicians.

Hogle has worked in the Catskills in New York state as a show drummer, played on cruise ships and toured with the Jimmy Durante show/orchestra.

 

Moir has played with many well-known local bands including the Al and Norma Tell Quartet, Yoboso, and Soulstice, and he is a founding member of the New Mexico Jazz Workshop.

All three have played at Bishop’s Lodge, El Meson, Las Campanas, the Eldorado Hotel, Santa Fe Brewery, La Fonda, the Inn at Loretto and many other Santa Fe venues.

The regular dinner menu will be offered 5-9 p.m. All menus are posted at labluewindowbistro.com.  

The Blue Window Bistro has been in operation for 29 years. Melissa Paternoster has owned the restaurant at 813 Central Ave. in downtown Los Alamos since June 2010. Born in Los Alamos, Paternoster graduated from Los Alamos High School.
