Looking for something to do tonight? Tokyo Nights Anime Lounge is a new popup hangout where you can watch anime on the big screen, read manga, draw, cosplay, play games, and grab some Japanese snacks and drinks in our lo-fi lounge. $5 at the door. Doors open at 8 p.m. Movie starts at 8:15 p.m. All profits will be donated to local nonprofits.

We’re screening Weathering With You, an award-winning film by Makoto Shinkai. A runaway teen finds himself seeking a new life in Tokyo where he meets an orphan girl who can control the weather. Together, they navigate hardships in a city where the rain never seems to end. It explores themes of resilience, teenage autonomy, love, and the power of sacrifice.
