Los Alamos County Libraries have received the most commonly requested income tax forms from the Internal Revenue Service and New Mexico Taxation and Revenue. Both Mesa Public Library and the White Rock Branch Library have State and Federal personal income tax forms as well as instruction forms in their lobby areas.
The IRS has also sent posters detailing where to find help in filing taxes. For business tax forms, please visit the Reference area at Mesa.
The Internal Revenue Service no longer sends multiple paper copies of all of the forms, but library staff is happy to help you locate forms online, if you know which forms you need. The Library staff cannot give tax advice, but can steer you toward useful publications in the Library and online. The public computers are available during regular library hours for patrons who would like to file their taxes online, and the homework computer at Mesa can also be used for filing taxes, on a first-come, first-served basis.
