ALBUQUERQUE – A federal jury returned a guilty verdict Sept. 29 against Rhonda Quintana, 39, of Albuquerque, on one count of aiding and abetting and bank robbery.
Quintana will remain on conditions of release pending sentencing, which has not yet been scheduled.
According to a federal indictment and other court records, on March 13, 2018, Quintana drove James Verdream to the Rio Grande Credit Union on 4th Street NW in Albuquerque. Verdream entered the credit union and passed a demand note to a teller. Verdream took money from the teller, returned to the car and fled with Quintana.

SANTA FE — New Mexico state health officials announced today 791 additional COVID-19 cases.
Los Alamos County reports 3 new cases bringing the total to 668 people who have tested positive for COVID-19. (County totals are subject to change upon further investigation and determination of residency of individuals positive for COVID-19.)
Per the state Department of Health, the most recent cases are:
- 213 new cases in Bernalillo County
- 48 new cases in Chaves County
- 9 new cases in Cibola County

The tool is on the right hand side of this landing page and titled “Am I eligible for a booster?”
By taking this short questionnaire, an individual can determine their eligibility for the Pfizer booster in a matter of minutes – and schedule an appointment if eligible.
