After a slow start the Los Alamos High School girls soccer team exploded for 2 goals in the second half to secure the 2-1 win over the Santa Fe Demons. Marie Lee got the Toppers on the board with an outside shot from the corner. A short time later, Irene Abfalterer assisted a goal to Alyssa Parker who scored the game winner. Woman Arrested In Little League Embezzlement Case

Police made an arrest today in the case of the missing revenue from the Los Alamos County Little League concessions during this year’s season.
Cmdr. Preston Ballew confirmed this evening that police have charged the volunteer responsible for collecting and depositing that revenue, Janice Lovato, with embezzlement.
League President Magdalen Miller told the Los Alamos Daily Post Sunday that the League Board had reported their suspicions and concerns to the Los Alamos Police Department.

Topper Boys Soccer Team Wins Over Coyotes
The Boys Varsity Soccer Team hosted the Roswell Coyotes Saturday afternoon for the 2019 Homecoming Game at Sullivan Field. It was a physical and hard-fought match. At the end of 80 minutes, the Toppers came out on top 3-1. The Coyotes took the lead early, scoring the only goal for either team in the first half. The Toppers started the second half with relentless offense and clutch defense, tying the game on a free kick by senior Dakota Duran. Topper Football Nips Gallup At Homecoming Game
Photo-1 Once again on a Friday evening the Topper Football Team takes to Sullivan Field with Abran Chacon carrying the Topper flag and Alex Chavez carrying the hammer for a contest against the Gallup Bengals. On paper the two teams were matched up very closely and as the game progressed, the pregame prediction turned out to be correct.
