Charity Golf Tournament & Anniversary Celebration

Bathtub Row Brewing Co-op is hosting its first charity golf tournament Friday, Aug. 3 at the Los Alamos Golf Course.
 
This year, the tournament will benefit All Individuals First, a local organization that provides a day program for adults with mental disabilities. Tub members are invited to reserve a member spot as soon as possible. After June 25, tournament registration will be open to the general public and close after the first 120 players sign up.

NM Senior Golf Association Announces Scholarships

Each year the New Mexico Senior Golf Association awards $20,000 scholarships to graduating seniors throughout New Mexico. The candidates are evaluated on several criteria including, grade average, activities participation, and community involvement during their high school careers. This year the Northern Chapter of the NM Senior Golf Association awarded six scholarships to Los Alamos seniors. The Los Alamos County Little League Softball Majors All Star team, ages 10-11-12 played an All Star team from Espanola Wednesday evening at the North Mesa Ball Park Complex for the right to represent the district in the state championship games in Albuquerque next week.
