The six seed Lady Hilltoppers take on the third seed Los Lunas’s Lady Tigers this morning at 8am at Cleveland High School in Rio Rancho. The State Championchip is a double elimination tournament. Ted Romero was the best pace-race predictor in running the trails in Potrillo Canyon and to the Estante Overlook, being only 7 seconds off his prediction for the 3 miles.
All but the last of the 16 runners in the weekly Tuesday pace race finished before it started to rain, and the last runner finished just before it poured hard with hail!
