Ted Romero was the best pace-race predictor in running the trails in Potrillo Canyon and to the Estante Overlook, being only 7 seconds off his prediction for the 3 miles.

All but the last of the 16 runners in the weekly Tuesday pace race finished before it started to rain, and the last runner finished just before it poured hard with hail!

In the 3 mile run the next best predictors after Ted Romero were family members Nathan (52 s off), Alexander, and Daniel (both 71 s off). Alexander and Daniel Romero were the fastest 3 milers in 21:38. The fastest woman was Lynn Bjorklund (25:28).

For the 1 mile course, the fastest runners were Roy Cope and Ann Nichols. Roy Cope was the best predictor, 12 seconds off.

Next Tuesday’s Pace Race will be on trails and roads and will start at the Guaje Pines Cemetery on Range Road off Diamond Drive across form the golf course.  For information, call 672-1639 or visit the Club’s Web site at:  www.atomicrunners.com
