Santa Fe Community College (SFCC) announces its virtual graduation ceremony for High School Equivalency (HSE) graduates at 6 p.m. May 18.
The public is invited to view the ceremony broadcast at https://youtu.be/F8hENoHYPf4/
Keynote Speaker New Mexico Adult Education Director Amber Rodriguez will address the graduates.
SFCC Student Admission Counselor Daniela Gurule, HSE graduate, will share “Reflections & Possibilities”. Adult Education Director Letty Naranjo will welcome everyone to the ceremony. Adult Career Education Program Manager Kirsten Krell will introduce the Adult Education staff and faculty.
Of Note: SFCC’s Academic Career Education (ACE) classes prepare students for GED or HiSet exams – the exams recognized by the state of New Mexico for the High School Equivalency (HSE) credential. The SFCC ACE Program offers students classroom-based instruction in the four areas required for HSE exams – math, reading and writing, social studies, and science. The program helps students boost their academic skills to prepare them for college courses and certificate programs.
