SFCC News:

Santa Fe Community College is hosting its eighth annual Clay Club Ceramics Sale in which students sell their functional and sculptural works in porcelain, earthenware, stoneware and micaceous clays.

The group includes aspiring young artists, lifelong learners and professional potters.

Sale profits are split 60-40 between the artists and the Clay Club, which uses the proceeds to hold visiting artist workshops, maintain the unique soda kiln and to purchase supplies to make the ceramics classes at SFCC a superb educational experience.

The sale is accompanied by a Silent Auction of pieces donated by instructors and students. The Clay Club is donating 100 percent of the proceeds from the Silent Auction component of the sale to Campus Cupboard – a free food pantry for SFCC students experiencing food insecurity. Bidders do not have to be present to win.
