Tonight’s Rotary Club Crab Fest Is On!

The Rotary Club of Los Alamos will host its annual Crab Fest fundraiser starting at 5:30 p.m. today as planned at the Knights of Columbus Hall.
The fundraiser will feature live and silent auctions that includes a number of noteworthy items to bid on such as a four-night stay in a condo in Steamboat Springs, Colo., fine jewelry, a guided hunting trip and much more.
The Crab Fest begins with a social hour and cash bar at 5:30 p.m. followed at 7 p.m. by a dinner of all-you-can-eat crab and prawn with all the fixings.

LARRY JOSEPH MITCHELL Nov. 11, 1936 – Feb. 25, 2015
Larry Joseph Mitchell, 78, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at his home in Los Lunas, NM.
He was born the youngest of five in Kilgore, Texas on November 11, 1936 to Jesse Coleman Mitchell and Chloe Etta (Patillo) Mitchell. Larry was a quiet man who was willing to help with thoughtful logical advice at any time. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and photography.
Larry lived most of his life in New Mexico, where he worked at Los Alamos National Laboratory for 26 years. Prior to working at LANL, he worked for the Albuquerque Police Department and A.C.F. Read More
