LAPS News:
It is very exciting to announce that the Los Alamos XQ Team to Reimagine High Schools has submitted the final application for the competition to reimagine High Schools.
The dedicated Odyssey team spent hundreds of volunteer hours collectively since April, 2016 when it was announced we were in the final running for part of the $70 million being granted to winning teams who have designed a high school to meet the needs of the 21st Century. This final application process included submitting an overview and six modules to detail the plans of our conceptual Odyssey Academy. The application including all the media links will be available by the end of the week to view on the Los Alamos Daily Post.
Please join members of the Odyssey Team for Coffee Klatch at 4 p.m., every Wednesday at Smith’s Starbucks to join in the evolving conversation about education. To sign up for the weekly topics and resources please contact Ken Holmes at k.holmes@laschools.net.
