NM Federal Business Opportunities Forum April 15-17

ETEBA News:

The Energy Technology and Environmental Business Association (ETEBA) Forum will be held April 15 – 17, 2025 at the Buffalo Thunder Resort. The ETEBA event will provide participants with an opportunity to learn about the latest upcoming federal opportunities and projects in the New Mexico region and beyond, interact with leadership, and the event will provide opportunity to network with potential business partners.

“ETEBA is proud to bring this annual forum back to Santa Fe, New Mexico along with the many companies from across the United States who are eager to do business here,” says Elizabeth Harm Executive Director of Energy, Technology and Environmental Business Association (ETEBA). “We are a national organization with a focus on bringing the latest business opportunities to our membership. This is one way we are able to do that! This is one of my favorite events of the year! ETEBA brings together both government and private sector professionals, puts them together in a room, and walk away having fostered stronger and oftentimes new relationships, which result in economic growth. While we’re here we are able to enjoy all that the beautiful state of New Mexico offers its visitors.”

ETEBA is a non-profit trade association representing over 200 small, large and mid-sized companies and affiliate members that provide environmental, technology, energy, engineering, construction and related services to government and commercial clients.

“The annual ETEBA NM Forum is not only supported each year by two of the Nation’s National Laboratories in Los Alamos and Sandia, but it also attracts management representatives and small business leaders from nearby Pantex, NREL, and this year Idaho National Lab and Lawrence Livermore National Lab” says, Michael Wade, Business ETEBA President and Nuclear Solutions Business Development Director for Boston Government Services, LLC. “It gives attendees the opportunity to meet with Laboratory decision makers and small business managers and hear about upcoming business opportunities.”

This year ETEBA will be hosting matchmaking at the Forum. They will have 13 tables representing nine organizations that are participating. Only those who have registered to attend the event will receive the link to sign up for sessions. You have to register for the forum. This is an opportunity for participants to engage with buyers.

“ETEBA New Mexico holds a key platform for fostering collaboration between the National Laboratories, and small and large businesses,” says Yvonne Gonzales, Small Business Program Manager, Los Alamos National Laboratory. “One of its most valuable aspects is the access it provides regarding ongoing and upcoming projects at various National Laboratory sites, including procurement opportunities that can benefit a wide range of companies. Additionally, this event serves as a resource for small businesses, offering them access to Small Business Advocates, procurement staff, technical requestors, and a wealth of information on available programs and support services to help them navigate the complexities of government contracting.”

The ETEBA event will feature expert-led panel discussions, workshops, and presentations that help businesses navigate the complexities of federal contracting. Small business advocates and procurement managers are present throughout the event to assist attendees in navigating government contracting processes and identifying opportunities. “New Mexico small businesses that want to grow and create more jobs are fortunate to have the ETEBA forum in our state,” says Julianna Barbee, ETEBA panel presenter and Small Business Development Center Director. “When you surround yourselves with the right experts and the right tools, positive change happens! The ETBA Forum is designed to ignite that spark that can lead to immediate business opportunities which can open the door to new partnerships and growth.”

The latest information will be provided from Nevada National Security Site (NNSA), Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL), Sandia National Laboratories and many others. This year the Energy Facility Contractors Group (EFCOG) and NNSA are hosting a construction roundtable on Thursday morning April 17th in association with the ETEBA forum.

Participants are encouraged to bring questions and be prepared to engage. ETEBA is expecting an attendance of over three hundred people at the Forum. ETEBA will also be hosting a golf outing participants must register for in advance. Additionally, there will be an opening reception specifically designed to meet new business contacts while reconnecting with others. For more information go to https://www.eteba.org/newmexicoforum/
