Starting in the spring semester, the Los Alamos Historical Society and Museum will be offering a new program for children in grades 1–3.
History Wednesdays occurs 1-3 p.m. Wednesdays during the school year. It is a free program, where children will experience engaging, hands-on history activities under the guidance of the Museum Educator.
History Wednesdays will meet in the Historical Society’s new Museum Classroom. The Museum Classroom is in Fuller Lodge, 2131 Central Ave., in Los Alamos. It is upstairs in the west wing of the building, the door is under the covered entrance between the main entrance to the Lodge and the entrance to the Art Center.
Support from Los Alamos County and the Emily L. Bradley Memorial Fund was critical in making the Museum Classroom a reality.
