Montoya is Top Predictor in North Mesa Pace Race

Theresa Montoya was the top predictor with a 15 second differential in this past Tuesday night’s pace race held out on North Mesa on the trail by Brewer Arena next to the horse stables. Other top predictors included Ted Romero at 17 seconds off, Tom Sandford coming in at 20 seconds from his stated time, and Bob Edgar having a 32 second difference.
 
Roy Cope was the fastest participant on the 1 mile course with a time of 11:44.  The top 1 mile female runner was Georgia Pedicini at 14:12.
 
On the 3 mile course Nathan Romero recorded a top time of 19:27 and the top woman was Lynn Bjorkland at 22:31.
 
Next week’s pace race will be held on Tuesday, May 1st at 6:00 PM beginning at the ice skating rink on West Road below the Los Alamos Canyon Bridge.  For more information call 672-1639 or visit Web site at:  www.atomicrunners.com
