Merry Christmas … Think Twice When You Say It!

“Merry Christmas” – What does it mean? A blessing, a wish to a neighbor or friend. A reminder of Baby Jesus, his birth, the One who came for all on earth.

Why do we say, “Merry Christmas,” the offer of Peace, Hope and Goodwill? To share the love Christ has given, a love we can’t understand.

This time of year we stretch out our hand to help, to share with our fellow man Those blessings He so abundantly gives to the ones for whom he died so we can live.

So, let us wish “Merry Christmas” to all we come across, without fear of rejection, persecution or loss. Our liberty is in Him, his death on the cross. And may each blessing return to us as in freedom we proclaim, “Merry Christmas!” In Jesus’ Name.
