Collective Pays Tribute To Powerful Creative Spirit Of Santa Fe’s Own Original Burning Man. We are cut from the same cloth. Meow Wolf feels like the latest in a long heritage that started with Shuster and his merry pranksters. We are excited to take the ride with Kiwanis and Zozobra as we head toward the 100 year anniversary.”
Meow Wolf, who published a popular article on Zozobra on their web site earlier this summer, will promote the event and ticket sales as well as provide sponsorship funds to help Kiwanis continue to take the event to its phenomenal place in the New Mexican and American folk art and live event landscape.
“The Kiwanis are thrilled to share our passion for Zozobra, Santa Fe’s 93-year-old icon, with Santa Fe’s art powerhouse Meow Wolf,” Ray Sandoval, Zozobra Event Committee Chair said. “A Zozobra-sized “Thank You” goes to Vince Kadlubek and Meow Wolf for their generous sponsorship. Meow Wolf’s sponsorship ensures the endurance of a beloved Santa Fe tradition and at the same time supports the kids in our community. With Meow Wolf’s support and enthusiasm, 2017 will be a banner year for our historic tradition, the 93rd Burning of Zozobra.”
