The County project team working on the eight proposed recreation projects for a bond election in 2017 will host an informational booth 9-11 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 20 at the Farmer’s Market.
Residents are encouraged to stop by and view project information, ask questions, or leave comment cards with feedback. The next public meeting about the bond projects is 5:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 17 in Fuller Lodge. Interested individuals can track progress on the projects by visiting www.losalamosbondprojects2017.com where they can sign up for a monthly newsletter, or, follow along on progress using Facebook – search for Los Alamos Bond Projects 2017 and “like” the page.
The team plans to give another update to the County Council about the feedback from the Nov. 17 public meeting as well as updating information on the eight projects at the Council meeting Tuesday, Nov. 29 (6 p.m, Council Chambers). The Council meeting will be streamed using the County’s website at www.losalamosnm.us, as well as broadcast live on PAC-8 television.
