LATC News:
The Los Alamos Teen Center is getting geared up for summer programs and the first one to announce is a 3D Computer Animation and Game Design class being taught by members of the LANL VISBLE Team.
The program is open to all teens 9th through 12th grade (including incoming freshmen and graduating seniors). The VISBLE (Virtual Simulation Baseline Experience) Team members are world class computer artists who have developed virtual models of nuclear reactors that allow scientists to explore their inner workings in ways never before possible.
Teens are encouraged come find out more details at one of the introductory sessions at 3:15 p.m. Thursday, May 14 or Thursday, May 21, at the Los Alamos Teen Center. For additional information, contact Teen Center Director Sylvan Argo (sargo@laymca.org) or Assistant Director George Marsden (gmarsden@laymca.org) or call the Teen Center at 505.500.8073.
