The Los Alamos High School Girl’s Golf team participated in the 5A only tournament invite hosted by Albuquerque Academy at the Canyon Club Golf Course.
 
Los Alamos took advantage of the opportunity to play the course that will be hosting the 5A State tournament in early May. The girl’s team finished the tournament in 2nd place behind St. Pius X.
 
Their total score of 399 was not only good enough for 2nd place but more importantly, the score was good enough to give them their second team qualifying leg. The team needs one more qualifying leg to make it to the state tournament.
