MESA PUBLIC LIBRARY News:

As part of the Los Alamos Friday Night Out events, Mesa Public Library is hosting a series of poetry readings each Friday night in June featuring local poets.

On June 15, Mike Katko and David Schiferl will read their work. Katko will read new work as well as poems from his recently published book, Skies and Other Poems.

David Schiferl will read his recent work. Along with others featured in the Friday poetry readings, Schiferl has participated in Mesa Public Library’s Poetry Gatherings facilitated by Jane Lin who also teaches poetry at UNM LA.

On June 22, the evening’s poets will be Jane Lin and David Mutschlecner, both published poets. Lin’s poetry has been published in an anthology and she will read from her manuscript,  Day of Clean Brightness.Mutschlecner will read from his recently released book, Enigma and Light.

On June 29, everyone is welcome to read their poetry at the last of the June series in a Poetry Open Mike event hosted by David Mutschlecner.
